PitBox91 delivers high-quality PR, social media and event management services to automotive and motorsport companies of all sizes. We handle projects for clients ranging from small start-ups to large international brands, working with cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles, both on and off the race track. We’re petrolheads, and our passion is central to the services we provide to our clients.

As we enter our seventh year, we are seeking team members who can take client satisfaction to the next level and be rewarded for business growth.

Primary responsibilities

The successful applicant will:
1.Plan strategies that deliver and exceed client KPIs.
2.Have a relentless focus on the execution of PR strategies, applying experience and creativity to engage clients and the media.
3. Write press releases to a very high standard and in a timely manner for time-sensitive content.
4. Manage client reporting and ensure there’s a robust feedback loop between results, learnings and creativity.
5. Develop the business by delivering excellence for our loyal clients as well as seeking new opportunities and sales leads to win new business.
6. Coach a small, talented and ambitious team to grow our high performance culture.
7. Have the ability to make a rapid progression to Director level.

The successful applicant will:
1. Have a proven track record of creating captivating campaigns and strategies for both PR and social media, including achieving international and national consumer press coverage.
2. Show a deep understanding of trends in the automotive industry, media and digital worlds.
3. Be actively interested in motorcycles, cars, trucks and the future of mobility.
4. Be able to work both independently and in a team, working with and reporting to colleagues, creative partners and clients.
5. Be versatile and flexible. Tasks will vary, hours are flexible, and the successful applicant will be expected to work weekends.
6. The role is home-based, but travel to regular team meetings in the U.K. Midlands area, client meetings and events is necessary. The successful applicant should have their own vehicle.
